The date for the event in 2022 has already been announced: 7th to the 11th March

Whilst gathered this Tuesday morning (19/01), in Não-Me-Toque/RS, the board and management of Cotrijal - Cooperativa Agropecuária e Industrial decided to cancel this year’s edition of the Expodireto that was due to take place from the 1st to the 5th of March in a hybrid form (in person and digitally), entirely.

The decision has been made to protect exhibitors’, employees’ and visitors’ health. “It was a decision agreed between us. Even with the health protocol already approved by the State Government Committee, we opted to be as prudent as possible”, explained the president of Cotrijal, Nei César Manica.

The cooperative’s management took the decision considering the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.

Manica also informed that Cotrijal decided to bring forward the announcement of next year’s edition’s date, which will take place from 7th to 11th March 2022, at the Não-Me-Toque exhibition park. “We will be back with full strength. And the early announcement of the date is a demonstration of the sector's optimism and confidence in the country”, he explained.

Cotrijal's expectation is that in 2022, there will be absolute security to put the hybrid model into practice. “We are a reference fair, and that will not change. But our lives are in person, and we need a consolidated immunization. So, next year, we will be at another point in time to make the fair safe and add an innovative digital experience”, anticipated President Nei César Manica.
