Another very special moment on the first day of Expodireto Cotrijal, was the grand opening of the Agro Walk of Fame.This act, right after the Official Opening ceremony, was highlighted for the prestige of authorities, press and the excitement of the honoured personalities´ relatives. The vice president of Brazil, general Hamilton Mourão, the governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite, and the Ministry of Agriculture Tereza Cristina followed the ceremony.

The bronze plates, with a leaf symbol, have the name of the 20 Politics Leaders and agribusiness personalities, among them the former ministries of the Agriculture Roberto Rodrigues and Francisco Turra, who talked on the behalf of the other honoured personalities.

“To be in Expodireto, as I have been for 20 years, is to be able to take a peek in the future. Our feeling is unique. We look back on the past, but we see new Technologies, the multiplication of the seeds. Anyway, we are all ecstatic every Expodireto´s Edition”, said Turra.
