The organization of the Expodireto Cotrijal prepared several activities to mark the 20 years of fair. The activities go from the memory of the history of the event to the help in smartphones recharge. Already in the entrance of the Expodireto Park, the visitors receive units of sunblock.

Who enjoyed the initiative were the rural producers Rafael Gasparin, from Gentil, and Antonio Reginato, from Ciríaco. “We forgot to bring one and it helps a lot”, said Gasparin, while spreading the sunblock on the arms.

In times when the technology is more and more present in the daily life, a smartphone works for communication as well as for work. Thinking on it, totems were distributed throughout the fair to recharge the batteries of the devices.

To use it, it is only necessary to create a password on the totem and insert the phone number. After that, it opens a small cabinet with three kinds of plugs for recharge. You only need to connect your device and close the cabinet. In the meantime, the smartphone is kept locked in the place while being recharged.

The ones who tested it, have approved the innovation. “In about 30 minutes, the totem gives a charge of 50% on the cellphone”, says the make-up artist Jordana Figueiredo.

Activity for all the family

In the House of Family Cotrijal, the visitors find a timeline which brings information since the first edition of the event, in 2000. And it was on this spot that the Kafer family, from Pontão, started their visit to the fair.

Anderson Kafer, who completed his 21 years old on Tuesday (12th), was impressed with the timeline. In the panel, he could check all the development of the fair, and at the same time he rescued memories from his childhood.

“We came to visit the fair every year and we see that at each edition the fair is larger, more beautiful and more organized. When I was a child, my parents had to be taking care of me all the time, because I kept going up and down the tractors of the fair, in pure joy. Today we have come to check the innovations to apply in the property, on which I am the right hand of my father”, told Kafer.

The father, João Lauro Kafer, participates of the fair every year. On this edition, the producer is interested in the new machinery. “We look for innovation to take to our property. In the Expodireto, I have already acquired tractor, seeder and sprayer machine. We need to be always innovating, if we do not follow the technology, it does not work”, declared Kafer.

Interactivity

In the House of Family Cotrijal is also possible to try out the virtual glasses which portray the development of the event. Checking the interactive space was important for the administrator Karine Wanser, who works in the Foundation MS. She works in the marketing area of Showtec, fair which occurs in Maracaju-MS and she came to meet in person the Expodireto.

“I was impressed. In the first edition the fair already had 114 exhibitors and received 40 thousand visitors. It is amazing to see that the event had already started in a big way”, says Karine Wanser.

Another high point of the fair, released this year, is the Hall of Fame, where several important people of the agribusiness are honored. The space is located next to the park entrance.
