The Wednesday, 13th, was the most animated day in the 20th Expodireto Cotrijal. A total of 75,700 people visited the corridors, stands, pavilions and auditoriums of the fair, which will occur until Friday, 15th, in Não-Me-Toque. This number is the largest in one day in all the history and it overcomes in 10% the number of visitors in the same period of the last edition (69,000). On the three first days, the Expodireto has already received 156,900 people, despite the rain and cloudy weather on the first two days.

In the opinion of the vice-president of Cotrijal, Enio Schroeder, the number of visitors proves the business character of the fair. Although he still does not have the accurate numbers in business with machinery and equipment, he highlighted that the visiting to the stands is large and it shall be even more intense in the next two days. He mentioned as an example of the agility of the financial institutions the approval of a funding for a harvester by Sicredi in only four hours.

Schroeder also calls the attention for the total crowding in the central auditorium for the forums of soybean, corn, dairy, wheat and soils, showing the interest of the producers in acquiring knowledge and improving their productions.

Schedule for Thursday

On Thursday, 14th, the park will host several events. In the central auditorium, starting at 9:00 AM, there will occur the 12th Forest Forum of RS – Sectorial Panel about Yerba Mate. Directors from Apromate, Ibramate and researchers from Emater/RS and Embrapa will discuss the roles of the producer, of the industry and of the research in the development of the sector.

From 1:30 PM, in the same place, it will occur the Soybean Brazil Forum, which has as the central topics the future of soybean and the policies of Mercosul. The promoter is the Rural Channel. At 5:15 PM, it will be officially released the 5th South-American Conference of Precision Agriculture and Precise Machinery – APSul America.
